Our Story
Pearly’s Restaurant was founded in 1993 by Jan Warmerdam. Jan came to Langebaan to retire, however his entrepreneurial spirit was stirred by a small beach cafe called Franel’s.
Together with Marc, Jan transformed Franel’s into Langebaan’s longest established, top restaurant. Since 2004 Pearly’s has been run by Marc & his brother David.

It is with great sadness that we announce that our Sweet Girl Pearly has crossed the rainbow bridge to join Zim
For 16 wonderful years, Pearly wasn't just a cat-she was the heart, soul, and resident boss of Pearly's Restaurant.
If you ever stopped by for a drink, you likely found her in her favorite spots: stretched out happily in the bar, soaking up the sunshine on the deck or accepting well-deserved scratches from staff and guests alike. She brought warmth, comfort, and so many smiles to our restaurant family over the years and she will be deeply missed.
